Yoga Classes

We run regular yoga workshops that are free for our students to attend. Our next workshop will be held on June 26th 10-11.30.

 

Class description:

A workshop-style class where yoga postures are broken down to facilitate a deeper understanding of one’s individual anatomy and how the poses we do on the mat can have a empowering impact on the things you enjoy to do in your life. As a group we explore both new and traditional ways of movement, breath and mindfulness, with an aim to give you all the tools you need to facilitate healthy range of movement, functional strength, and a mind that can work for you rather than against you.The class is for all levels regardless of experience, perfect for the complete beginner or the advanced yoga practitioner.

 

About Tamasine:

Tamasine has practised yoga for over 30 years. She holds a 200-hour and 500-hour Teaching diploma in teacher training and is also trained in teaching Yin Yoga and a form of deep relaxation called Yoga Nidra.

Tamasine is a traditional Hatha yoga teacher, but she also brings influences from many schools of yoga. She emphasises the importance of the breath in each posture and teaches how to practise yoga mindfully and with awareness of the body, breath and safety.

Tamasine has two passions: yoga and surfing, and has found yoga the perfect complement to a physical sport such as surfing as it builds strength, flexibility and balance. Tamasine believes that yoga has a positive effect on your physical and mental wellbeing, and with regular practice, this can bring harmony and transform your everyday life.
